Began as a collaborative effort of Canadian producer Jonny White and Kenny Glasgow in 2009, Art Department continues its musical journey with Jonny White. White’s unique style landed Art Department at the forefront of underground music movement. Released their debut track "Vampire Nightclub / Without You" in 2010, Art Department demonstrated its production skills, notably on White’s own "No.19 Music." After releasing their impressive debut album "The Drawing Board", Art Department built a deeper and more experimental sound with their sophomore album "Natural Selection" in 2014. Eventually focused more on heavier, dubby house, and techno sound, Art Deparment performed at festivals like Movement, Ultra Music Festival, EDC, BPM Festival, Exit Festival, Parklife, Creamfields, Global Gathering, Burning Man, Lollapalooza, Coachella and Tomorrowworld. Since 2009, they have garnered praise for their work from media platforms like Now Magazine, DJ Times, Raveline Magazine, Pitchfork, The Guardian, Vogue, I:D and Vibe. They also topped of the charts of Beatport Awards, iTunes, DJ Mag, and Resident Advisor.
