Black Merlin is the project of the British DJ and producer George Thompson. He worked with Bird Scared Records, World Unknown, Common Thread, Jealous God, Island of the Gods, Berceuse Heroique and Boysnoize labels. His rich and hypnotic universe is buit on EBM, techno tinted industrial and space disco. Thompson’s first album, Brunswick Drive, was released on Bird Scarer Records. His album, Hipnotik Tradisi, consists of ambient compositions which blends "Gamelan" music and traditional instruments.
