Istanbul based DJ Ece Özel runs her own party and podcast series named "Özel Zevkler" where she has supported local acts and DJs. After being one of the long-time residents of Istanbul’s Minimuzikhol, she established an independent record label named Müstesna Records. Growing up in Istanbul’s punk scene and meeting with electronic music later has had an impact on her music style. She creates dark but shiny journey through transitions of electro, disco, leftfield electronics, new wave and techno which leads to intense moments on the dancefloor. She has been playing in Istanbul for almost a decade now and she has been noticed by some international platforms like Dekmantel and Boiler Room. She has played at clubs and festivals like Renate, Golden Pudel, Boiler Room, Salon Des Amateurs, Sameheads, Kaiku, Garagenoord, Rive Rouge, Fold, Dekmantel Festival, Atlas Electronic, Camp Cosmic.
