The Blaze are a French duo, consisting of music producers and film directors Guillaume and Jonathan Alric. They released their first track, "Virile", in 2016 on Bromance Records. The duo then went on to release their debut "Territory" EP in April 2017. The music video for the track "Territory" earned Film Craft Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Their debut album, DANCEHALL, was released in September 2018. DANCEHALL is a tribute to the scene, in which people simply come together, party, and listen to their favorite artists. It is a place where people lived, loved, and danced. Their music and films offer new insight into the world we live in today and the duo is able to launch the viewer high onto a bed of complex human emotions. Praised by The New York Times, Fader, Another, NME, Clash and Noisey, The Blaze has taken an important place in the French electronic music scene. They played at some of the world’s biggest festivals including Coachella, Primavera Sound, Parklife and Pitchfork Paris. The duo also performed their first hard tickets tour in North America.
